Department

 

Western Economics has a distinguished history of Teaching and Research at the University of Western Ontario. For many years, Mark K. Inman led the Department. Its current academic profile, however, began to take shape in the mid-1960s under the auspices of Grant Reuber. Today, there are 30 full-time Faculty members, many part-time instructors, and numerous Fellows & Visitors in the Department. Its dynamic website includes a comprehensive directory of resources supporting faculty and students in their pursuit of knowledge. The Economics Newsletter serves as a communication tool providing information on activities in the Department, the University and the wider economic community. Fall 2010 saw the launch of our Alumni Portal, a means of keeping alumni in touch with each other and Western Economics.
