Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI)

The Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI) was founded in 2001 with a donation from the RBC Financial Group. It is a joint enterprise of the departments of Economics and Political Science. The goal of the Institute is to foster research at UWO on long-term economic policy issues through its support for policy-oriented research in the two departments.

Centre for the Study of International Economic Relations (CSIER)

CSIER, which has been co-directed by Terry Sicular and John Whalley, has continued its grant and contract activity in the trade policy and development areas. The Centre employs a small staff for these projects whose size fluctuates with project activities.

CIBC Centre for Human Capital and Productivity (CIBC)

The CIBC Centre in Human Capital and Productivity was created to study issues related to human capital and productivity. The CIBC Centre supports research on 6 broad themes: (i) early childhood, primary and secondary schooling, (ii) post-secondary education, (iii)productivity and earnings, (iv) social benefits of human capital, (v) human capital policy, and (vi) human capital, development and growth.
